When scorched with fire and rubbed with oil, the lake-salvaged Douglas Fir takes on a richly colored and heavily textured black finish. The sculptural legs were originally carved in plaster by the designer, and later cast in solid bronze. Punctuated by crisp satin white doors with intricate door pulls, this piece is truly unique.
